'kindness' is here. 10% from the sale of each ‘kindness’ will be donated to help cancer patients at UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay.
As you might expect, when we made the decision to open a new store in San Francisco, we had a long list of to-do items. At the top of that list, was finding amazing charitable partners to work with. We knew we wanted to work with organizations that were well-respected in the Bay Area and really understood our mission of giving back to help cancer patients. We think we found the perfect partner in UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay.
glassybaby is pleased to announce UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay as our newest giving partner. Slated to open in 2015, this new hospital is the culmination of more than 10 years of planning and is the first new facility to open at UCSF Medical Center in more than 30 years. The hospital complex will include a children’s hospital, a women’s hospital and a cancer hospital. glassybaby’s donations will be earmarked for a patient assistance fund to help cancer patients with day-to-day costs such as groceries, bus fare and art therapy—items which aren’t covered by medical insurance. 10% from the sale of each ‘kindness’ glassybaby will be donated to help cancer patients at UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay.
