this summer, glassybaby is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service by partnering with the Yosemite Conservancy’s Snowpack and Water Resources program.
each year as snow levels decrease, the Yosemite Conservancy provides grants to study the effects of snow and snowmelt throughout the park. the results of this research are then used to help manage natural resources and native species, while also ensuring their protection for the future.
With snowpack providing 90% of the park’s water, conservation and education about water resources is essential. the Yosemite Conservancy’s goal is to create a state-of-the-art computer to help estimate snowpack depth and predict each year’s water distribution.
glassybaby is excited to announce that 10% from the sale of each ‘mountain lake’ glassybaby online and at our california stores will be donated to support the Yosemite Conservancy’s Snowpack and Water Resources program, to ensure the park’s beauty for another 100 years.
