10% from the sale of every glassybaby goes directly to organizations that support people in all kinds of need.
our giving carries no judgement, often supporting the needs that aren't often supported.
we just want to help where help is needed.
10% of sales at glassybaby go to the glassybaby white light fund.
100% of this fund supports organizations that promote hope and healing.
in 1996, Lee Rhodes was raising three young children when she was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer.
she battled the disease for seven years, and ultimately won, but only after surgery, chemotherapy,
radiation and clinical trial treatments at the University of Washington Hospital. Thanks to the dedicated staff at UW,
Lee has been able to watch her family grow and to give back to the community that helped her stay alive.
during treatment, Lee met other cancer patients who could not afford basic needs such as bus fare, childcare, or groceries.
when Lee founded glassybaby, she made it the core mission of the company to help alleviate the struggles that she witnessed.
since 2003, the glassybaby white light fund has supported cancer care at UW, including the Living Well with Cancer Series
and The Collegiana, a UW-owned apartment-hotel.
as glassybaby has grown, the glassybaby white light fund still supports these worthy causes at UW,
and also gives to dozens more organizations that promote hope and healing of the
environment, animals, and veterans’ health.
